RAINBIRD, Robert Edward Richard-(1940 - 2020)
Robert Edward Richard Rainbird passed away peacefully at F.J. Davey Home on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at the age of 79. He is survived by his wife Sharon (nee Coutu) of 56 yrs. Dear father of Jamie Rainbird (Adina Paluzzi) and Bobbi-Jo Belair (Kim). Proud grandfather of Mitchell and Trent Rainbird and Tianna (Justin Hykel) and Bodie Belair. Son of the late Harry and Vera Rainbird (nee Jannison). Dear brother of Ken (Jeannine) and Gary (Dawn) both now of Windsor. Dad worked 38yrs at Algoma Steel and enjoyed his retirement on the golf course. He loved his sports and played many over the years. In respecting Dad’s wishes, cremation will take place and there will not be any visitation or service. The family would like to express sincere thanks to the nursing staff at Pathways and the F.J. Davey Home for their loving care and support over the years. A special mention to all staff on Apple 2 who went above and beyond every day. Your compassion will never be forgotten. Memorial contributions (payable by cheque) may be made to the F.J. Davey Home.
