JOHNSON, Robert ‘Bob’
Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday December 4, 2020 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Sydor). Loving father of Michael (Laura) and Paul (Mariette) and Karen. Grandpa of Brooke-Lynn (Johnathan) and Bronson. Predeceased by his parents Orville and Adelaide Johnson. Brother of the late Ken (Doreen) and Randy (Debby). Brother in law of Natalie (Richard) Tauvette, Jennie (Don) Lillie, Amelia (Doug) Kraushaar and Stephanie (Fred) Arniel. Bob will be remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Bob's proudest accomplishments in his life includes working 31 years at Algoma Steel and retiring. Bob was the orginal owner of Weed Man Lawn Care Company for 20 years and was also the operator of a french fry bus called Spudman which he enjoyed very much. Bob had a love for cars and sports but especially hockey. In later years, he enjoyed sitting on his veranda in his rocking chair and saying hello to passer bye and enjoying retirement. Due to COVID, a private family service will take place. Family and friends are invited to join the family in procession from O’Sullivan Funeral Home (corner of Cathcart & St. James St) on Thursday December 10, 2020 at 1:45 p.m. Please wait in your vehicles until we are ready to leave together. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of 3B and 3C of the Sault Area Hospital and the LHIN Homecare for the care given to Bob.
