Obituary for Richard Ernie Poirier
Suddenly at home on Saturday August 20, 2022, at the age of 51. Son of Lucille and the late Eugene Poirier. Brother of Marc (Diana) and Jo-Anne. Uncle of Bryan (Nicole), Laine, Madison (Jade), Brittany and Céleste. Rich will be missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his co-workers. Rich will be missed by his furry friend Fergie.
A private family service will be held.
A Celebration of Richard’s Life will be held on Saturday August 27, 2022, from 1:00pm-4:00pm, at Quattro Hotel & Conference Centre (229 Great Northern Rd.)
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Gord Downie Fund for Brain Cancer Research (www.donate.sunnybrook.ca/gord) or Northern Critters in Need (www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/northern-critters-in-need-ncin).
