Passed away peacefully in the arms of his children at Sault Area Hospital on July 30, 2019 at the age of 70. Loving father of Tristan Rainone (Megan), April Meyers (Derek) and Peter John Denys III (Brianna Morrison). Proud grandpa/papa of Asher, Lucien, Bane, Adison, Sophie and Annabella. Peter will be missed by his girlfriend, Dorothy. Son of the late Peter and Doris Denys. Brother of Pat, Dean, Sharon and the late Jennie and late Dodie. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. As per Peters wishes, no services will be held and a private celebration of life with the family will take place at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff at the Sault Area Hospital ICU whose kindness and caring helped the family through this difficult time, as well as Dr. Hill and his nurse Cindy, in the Cancer Care Unit, Peter appreciated you throughout his journey. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Clinic Care Fund. Arrangements entrusted to O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 215 St. James St, 705-759-8456.
