Obituary

Truman, Paula (nee Phillips)-
With broken hearts, the family would like to announce the unexpected passing of loving wife and mother, Paula Philips. Paula passed away unexpectedly at home on July 5, 2020 at the age of 61.
Survived by loving husband Richard Truman. Mother of Patrisha Maitland (Larry) and Kenneth Truman (Émilie). Grandmother of Noah Maitland and Charlie Truman. Step grandmother to Nick, Hannah and Evan Maitland. Daughter of Patricia Phillips and the late William Phillips.
Sister of the late Pattie Dube (Mike), Bill Phillips (Sylvia), Dan Phillips (Manuela), Micheal Phillips (Diane), Jack Phillips (the late Darlene) and Betty-Jo Phillips. Aunt to Chris, Kylie, Phillip, Sarah, Jarrett, Madison, Paige and Cody. Paula enjoyed spoiling her grand pups: Oliver, Elvis and Buster.
A Celebration of life will be announced later. The family would like to thank the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Clinic.
Paula, may the flowers of your eternal garden bloom abundantly and give off as much fragrance as the candles you loved to burn. After planting the seeds as an all-star mom, you grew into the proudest grandmother, ready to cheer on at hockey games with every drop of the puck. You would finish the day with tickles and cuddles. Loving and caring for your clematis and family was your passion, as was keeping things pristine clean. Nothing compared to your home cooking. Devoted wife, you always tended to your own personal garden bed with kind and comforting words. A trellis of support to all, you loved taking care of your family and helping others. You made special connections by taking a selfless interest in those around you. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sault Area Hospital Cancer Care Clinic. Arrangements entrusted to O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 215 St. James St, 705-759-8456.
