Obituary for Noel Albert St. Jules

(December 25, 1936 – March 7, 2023)

Passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness at the F. J. Davey Home on March 7, 2023, at the age of 86. Survived by his loving wife Sharron. Father of Christopher St. Jules (Suzanne), and infant son, the late Gregory. Proud Poppa of Brandon St. Jules (Christie) and Lauren Vorlicek (Nick). Great Poppa (GP) of Aria St. Jules, Brooke Vorlicek, Brianna Vorlicek and Bailey Vorlicek.

Son of the late Joseph and Alexina St. Jules (nee Boyer). Brother of Edna Morin (late Florent), the late Noella Hnatchuk (late Fred), Louis St. Jules (Marion), late Maurice St. Jules and Alice Gingras (late Roland). Brother-in-law of the late Melvin Lee (late Helen), late Dolores Schmidt (late Earl) and the late Jackie Currie (late Doug). Uncle to many nieces and nephews who all loved their Uncle Noel.

Noel had a 31-year career at Mannesmann Tube later Algoma Tube split between the union line and management. He was asked to travel to the various oil fields where Algoma pipe was used and be the liaison inspector for Algoma with the Oil Companies. He excelled at the role with his knowledge of pipe and his people skills. After retiring from his career at Algoma Tube many winters were spent in Florida, South Carolina, and Texas escaping the snow.

Summers were a time for connecting with the grandchildren at the camp and raking the beach on the shores of Lake Superior.

He was able to meet and enjoy the company of his great grandchildren and watching them would light up his face with a big smile.

He had a 68-year marriage to the love of his life Sharron. They went through the good and bad of life and made it work in sickness and in health and were inseparable till his last day.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him for his humor, wit and conversation.

Noel enjoyed a full life and was active in many organizations. He was a member of the Elks Lodge 341 marching band, attending Greycups and other Civic events. He was also an avid Curler playing in the local leagues and traveling to many Bonspiels.

His favorite passion was playing guitar and singing his heart out to the delight of his many friends and family. Whether at a bonfire, house party or on the ACR Line he was always the life of the party. In later years he would tour the Long-Term

Care homes entertaining residents as a member of Art 's Country Band.

As per Noel's wishes no service will be held. A Celebration of Life was held with immediate family.

Thank you to the F. J. Davey Home family Mike, Sandra, Beverly, Krista, Sunny, Annie, Wendy, Mindy, Jessie and Dr. Jarrett.
