The Heavenly Hockey League news today April 9, 2022:
General manager of God’s Golden Angels, Jesus Christ, announced they have picked up a new left winger, Nathan Catling. Assistant G.M Brian Tatum and player Development Coach Curtis Hargrove said: “He would be a perfect fit on A line with his brother Skyler Catling at right wing and his friend Josef Vasicek at centre. It will be a great reunion that has been a while coming”.
Nathan is the loving son of Tracy Catling (Gille) and Dave Catling (Kerri). Precious and much-loved grandson of Lynn and Rita July. Grandson of Ken (late Shirley) Catling. Brother of the late Skyler. Stepson of Marley Sharpe and stepbrother of Brandon and Brianna Sharpe. Uncle of Arianna, Dominic, Brielle and Scarlette. Much loved nephew of Patti Lynne (Brad) July, Rick (Lisa) Gilbertson, Scott (Myra) Eddy, Marti (Mary Ellen) Luukkonen, Harold (Sandra) July, Pauline (late Harvey) Weir, Debbie July (late Winston), Linda July (late Ross), Kevin (Shari) Juliette. He will be fondly remembered by his many cousins, friends, the game officials of the OHL, his many friends from the NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes and their families and so many more.
Family and friends are invited to O’Sullivan Funeral Home (215 St. James St) on Wednesday April 13, 2022, from 5:00pm-9:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday April 14, 2022, at 11:00am at the Free Methodist Church (753 McNabb).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sault Area Firefighters Bronson Account or to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. (Payable to).
The family would like to express their gratitude to tall the doctors, nurses and staff in the ICU and 3C of the Sault Area Hospital for the care given to Nathan.
