Obituary for Nashton Michael Boivin

With broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of our sweet baby boy Nashton Michael Boivin on January 12th, 2023, at the age of 2. Survived by his loving parents Cierra Luxton and Jolin Boivin. Grandson of Michael Luxton and Nicole Boivin. Special Great Grandson of his Great Papa Jim and Great Grandpa Ray. Nephew to Brianna Boivin (Damian, Tyson, Lily, Kinsley and Jase), Kate O’Connor (Kyle, Jayven and Mikayla) and his “Uncle Dough”. He will be deeply missed by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends including his second family at Holy Cross Childcare and Thrive Child Development Centre. Nashton will be forever cherished by his best friend and sweet protector “Ollie Dog”.

Ruler of the playground. Nashton had a love for the outdoors, and you could always find him in water. He was an animal lover just like his mom. He saw the world in a different light, he found the beauty and good in everything and everyone. His laugh and smile were infectious, and he brought joy to everyone he came across. His dance moves and singing will be missed beyond belief. Nashton’s favorite quote was “Hakuna Matata” and he lived his life doing exactly that each day.

Family and friends are invited to O’Sullivan Funeral Home on Wednesday January 18, 2023, from 1:00pm-3:00pm.

We would like to thank the Nurses and Doctors at Sault Area Hospital for all of their efforts.

In lieu of flowers we ask all donations may be made to Thrive Child Development Centre on behalf of Nashton (www.kidsthrive.ca/the-foundation)

Hold him a little longer,
Rock him a little more,
Tell him another story,
You’ve only told him four.
Let him sleep on your shoulder,
Rejoice in his happy smile.
He is only a little boy,
For such a little while.
