Obituary for Mike Greening
GREENING, Michael (Mike) 1947-2019
Mike passed away on July 16, 2019, at the Ottawa General Hospital, after a valiant battle with cancer. He will be missed by his loving wife Kathryn (Kathy), his sons James, Christopher and Julia, and his grandchildren. He was the son of the late Elizabeth (Donnan) Greening. Mike came to Canada from Northern Ireland as a young lad.He is remembered by his cousins Bill and Margaret Campbell, Vivian Sheldon, Michael Ord and their families, and his relatives in Northern Ireland. He is also remembered by his good friends Joe and Marie Gilmour, John Hansen, Don Redmond and Henry Druin (The Friday Lunch Guys), and all his “Y” friends. We would like to thank all of those who supported us on Mike’s Journey. A come and go Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday August 15, 2019, from 5:00pm to 8:00 pm at the United Baptist Church Hall- lower rear entrance, 41 Malabar Drive, Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. Donations to Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be accepted (by cheque). Interment will be at the Necropolis (in Toronto) in September.
