Obituary for Melinda Marie Sullivan (Thibault)

SULLIVAN, Melinda (nee Thibault)

It is with great sadness to announce that my first-born beautiful daughter has gained her wings to greet her loved ones left before us. Melinda Marie Thibault-Sullivan peacefully passed away at the Sault Area Hospital January 24th, 2020, with mom and aunt Cheryl by her side. Wife of the late Christopher Sullivan.
Left with a broken heart are her mom Ruthann Wilson (very special stepdad, Jim,) and Stepmom Maria Thibault and her late father Alan Joseph Thibault.
Brother of Sgt. First Class Alan Joseph Thibault Jr. USA Army of Monroe Michigan, sister Raquel Frances Thibault (Ronnie) of Soo Ont., stepbrother Chris Collins (Courtney), half brother Andrew Thibault (Violet), stepsisters Tina Wilson (John), Kimberley Sweeney (Jason) and Melissa Wilson (Jason). Granddaughter of Doris Payment (late Bill Payment) of St Joseph Mich., the late Paul and late Peggy Thibault. Very special niece of Betsy Cox (Bill), Cheryl Harvey (Bill),
Mary James (Rick), Barbara Thibault (Robert), Paul Thibault, Margaret Matte (Luc) and the late JoAnne Whalen (Frank). Melinda will be greatly missed by many cousins, many nieces and nephews, but she was so excited when she was an Aunt for the first time to Dezirae Marie Gerner. A very special thank you to many family and friends that were here for us in person or in prayers for her long four day stay in the hospital. To the 3rd floor staff that kept her comfortable, especially to Shannon on the day I had to let her go and be free of pain, she was very comforting in her final hours. To Dr. Maloney who was supportive and understanding to her palliative needs and Pastor Elizabeth Brechin and the Pim St. Community Church of the Nazarene. A Celebration of Eternal Life will be held on January 28, 2020 at the Pim St. Community Church of the Nazarene (369 Pim St.). Doors open at 4:30, time of service is 5:00 pm. There are allergies to flowers, so donations to Heart and Stroke or Pim St. Community Church of the Nazarene would be appreciated. Mindy is now healed and can run with 2 legs and tumor free. (Mindy you are so loved and will be missed greatly. You now no longer need assistance to get around. Spread those wings and be free like a bird.) Love Mom xoxo.
