GRANT, Mary Helen (nee Morrison)
Peacefully at the Sault Area hospital on October 27, 2020 a t the age of 75. Loving wife of Jim. Mother of Suzette Briault and Lisa Davieaux. Grandmother of Jonathan Dewar, Brandon Eusebi and Jillian Eusebi. Great grandmother of Jamie Hallet-Dewar. Predeceased by her parents Randall and Hilma Morrison. Sister of Wanda Hutchinson, Linda Watson, the late Marvin Morrison, Renee Steuer and Susan Cook. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Mary enjoyed her working life as the Office Manager for Algoma Truck & Tractor, the 1990 Labatt Brier and other local businesses. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, always caring for her flock of family. She loved cooking, sunshine and travel, spending many happy days in Florida. Her sense of humour was unparalleled as was her sense of propriety. She was a mama bear, always available with wisdom and sage advice. Loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her. The family would like to thank the Sault Area Hospital Staff on 3B and 3C, as well as Dr. Russell, Dr. Bowen and Dr. Hirvie. A private family service will be held, with a Celebration of Life at a later date. Memorial donations may be made payable to or on-line to the Sault Area Hospital or ARCH.
