GRANT, Martin ‘Marty’
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marty at the Sault Area Hospital on August 3, 2021, at the age of 60. Loving husband of Benita and father of Nelson. Predeceased by his parents Maude and Joseph Grant. Brother of the late Ed Louttit (Sherry), Bill Louttit (Laura), late Violet Wilson (Bill), late Ralph Louttit, Gloria Grant, Helen McLeod (late Nick), Jim Grant (Fran), late Doug Grant, David Grant (Connie), Beaty Stevenson (Jim), and Wilma LaLonde (Roger). Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Marty loved his job at Alamos Gold and the comradery he had with fellow miners, getting the job done and his men safely home to their families was priority.
He was honoured to take your dad’s place as your hunting buddy Cheryl.
Thank you to the many dedicated doctors and nurses, especially his home care nurses Amy and Jessica for helping him through his cancer journey.
A family gathering will take place at a later date.
