Peacefully at Extendicare Maple View on Tuesday February 24, 2020 in her 96th year. Born in Calabria, Italy on June 1, 1924. Predeceased by her husband Raffaele. Stepmother of the late Giulio (Concetta), late Antonio (Maria), late Fiorenzo ‘Frank’ (late Amelia), late Teresa Montuoro (late Mario), late Frances Pagnotta (Eugene), Elena Sicoli and Settimo (Carol). Maria was a special Nona, great grandmother and great great grandmother to many that will miss her. She will be missed by her family and friends in Italy, Sault Ste. Marie and British Columbia. As per Maria’s wishes a private family service will be held. The family would like to thank the staff of Goulais Bay Extendicare Maple View for their care given to her. Memorial donations may be made to ARCH and would be appreciated.
