Obituary for Marion Offidani
At home on Thursday November 3, 2022, in her 98th year.
Loving wife of the late Joseph Offidani. Adored mother of Albert and Nancy (Edward) Serhan. Nonna of William (Ashley), Bradley and Benjamin. Great grandmother of Cameron.
Predeceased by her parents Camillo and Grazia Deluzio of Abruzza Italy. Sister of the late Steffano (Teresa), late Urbano (Guilia), late Pierino (Alvira) and the late Rafaele. Marion was aunt to many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy.
Family and friends are invited to O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Thursday November 10, 2022, from 10:30am-12:30pm. A Funeral Mass will follow at Our Lady of the Highways Croatian Catholic Church (466 Second Line E) at 1:00pm with Father Veselko Kvesić officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
A very special thank you to Anna and Tony Deluzio for being there and taking care of Mom through all the many years. Thank you as well to the March of Dimes for the care given to Marion.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the March of Dimes. (Payable by cheque).
Our Special Mother
Our special mother was always there
To cook delicious suppers with all her loving care.
She welcomed family and friends to her humble place
She always seemed to have a smile upon her face.
In gratitude we had her all these lovely years
To share our laughter and also many tears.
She loved our Father and her children too
She loved all her grandsons
Her love was very true.
We’ll miss her tender voice
The comfort that she brought
All the loving things she did was all she truly sought
When the Lord came to call Mom to her Eternal Rest,
We cried our tears
But knew Mom had done her very best!
