With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Margaret Foster at the age of 96 at Mapleview Home on Tuesday June 4, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Bill Foster. Dearest mother of the late Anne Dixon (late Willie), June Jeffery (George), Shirley Davey (Jimmy), Nancy McPhee (Earl), Marlene Schmitt (Fritz), Kathryn Alcock (Gene) and Bill Foster Jr. (Jane). Much loved grandmother of 21, great grandmother of numerous and great great grandmother of 1. Better known as Granny. Dear sister of Lucy Martin, late Gertie, late Eddie, late Jean, late Charlie, late Frank and late Johnny. A huge thank you to the staff at Pathways and Mapleview Home for their great care, compassion and love for our Mom. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ARCH or the charity of your choice. Family and friends are invited to O'Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 215 St. James St (corner of Cathcart and St. James St) on Friday June 7, 2019 from 12 - 1 p.m. Service to follow in the O'Sullivan Chapel at 1 p.m. Burial to follow at Dunn's Valley Cemetery and the family wish to invite you to the Leeburn Hall of Memories (Highway 638).
