Obituary for Marcy Ellen King (Boyd)
KING, Marcy (nee Boyd) –
Passed away unexpectedly at home with her husband by her side on Thursday, June 16th, 2022, at the age of 66. Daughter of the late Douglas and Betty Boyd of Fort Frances, Ontario. Survived by her loving husband, Tim. Cherished sister of Lori Cain and Julie Metke. Special aunt to Brittany, Natalie, Mitchell, Samantha, Paul, Angela, Richard, Riley and Heather.
Marcy had a special place in her heart for her dogs and loved travelling with Tim. It brought Marcy pure joy spending time at camp. She loved gardening, dancing, photography, swimming, kayaking and of course, curling with her ladies!
She loved to keep in touch with all of the nieces and nephews and family across Canada.
At Marcy’s request, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held, but we all know that Marcy would like everyone to celebrate her life in their own fun way! Memorial donations made to United Way of Sault Ste. Marie (payable by cheque or online at https://www.uwssmalgoma.ca/giving) would be appreciated by the family.
