Obituary for Lesley Ann LeBlanc (Robinson)

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Lesley Ann Leblanc (nee Robinson) at the age 69, on Wednesday October 12th, 2022, with her loving family by her side. She will be sadly missed by her, best friend and partner of over 50 years, her husband Yvon. Cherished Mom to loving daughter, Michelle LeBlanc (Roger) and grandmother and support person to Brianne. She was a devoted daughter to her now deceased parents Ed and Phyllis Robinson. Her older sister Gayle Maki passed last year. She will be dearly missed by her sisters, Jean Schwinges-Lawrence (George) and Janice Hoover (Doug). Loved and missed by her nieces and nephews.

She lived all her life in Sault Ste. Marie and retired from the Ministry of Natural Resources after many years of loyal service. Lesley was best known by her family and friends as a giving, unselfish, loving soul, but strong and independent, she was there for anyone if they needed help. Lesley in years passed loved to fish and even hunt with her husband, Yvon. Loved to do pickling with hubby and friends and give out jars of the tasty product.

Thank you to Dr. Landry, the staff at the Sault Area Hospital Emergency Department, and the nurses in ICU, especially Shelly, Toni and Mel for their compassionate care given to Lesley and the family.

Rest well our dear Lesley you are truly missed, until we meet again. Life can change in the blink of an eye, but memories are forever.

At Lesley’s request there will be no funeral, but a Celebration of Life will be at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made payable to or online to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
