HARNDEN, Leonard
At the Sault Area Hospital on May 4, 2020, in his 96th year. Leonard John Cameron (Len) Harnden has been reunited with his wife of 62 years, Fanny (nee MacMillan). Left to mourn are his children Keith (Pam), Heather (Mike), Elaine, Deborah (Rod), Christopher (Lisa) and Kevin (Mavis.) Adored grandfather of 11 and great-grandfather of 10. Brother of Vernon (Georgina) and David (Marie) and brother-in-law of Lillian. Predeceased by siblings Helen West (late Mark), Angus, Donalda Mount (late Morris), Marie Ryan (late Patrick) and his parents Albert and Jessie. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. At Len’s request, there will be no funeral. Cremation has taken place and a private burial will take place at a later date. For those who wish to honour him, memorial donations (by cheque) to the F. J. Davey Home, the Sault Area Hospital Foundation or the Royal Canadian Legion would be appreciated. The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff at the F. J. Davey Home and the SAH for the care, kindness and compassion shown to Dad.
