It is with great sadness that we announce Larry’s peaceful passing at his home on Saturday, July 27, 2019, in his 62nd year. He will be remembered by the love of his life and best friend for 26 years Sandra Anich. Loving father of Rayna (Tyler) and Papa to his pride and joy Daysha and Cameron. Beloved son of the late Albert and Rose Bertin. Brother of Gerry Breckenridge (Ken), late Maurice Bertin, Judy Champagne (Ron), Karen Bertin and Sharon Carrier. Larry will be fondly missed by many nieces and nephews, as well as Doris Anich (late John), Walter Anich, Alan (Monique) Anich and Shirley Klieber (Erwin). At Larry’s request a private family gathering was held. The family would like to thank Dr. Yee, Dr. Amahal, Dr. Stadnick, Dr. Spadafora and all the nursing staff that took care of Larry over the years. In lieu of flowers Larry requests donations to be made to University of the Ottawa Heart Institute (https://foundation.ottawaheart.ca/ways-give/donate-now) or for those unable to donate please give the gift of blood.
