Obituary for Keith Daniel Barker
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Keith Daniel Barker at Sault Area Hospital on Friday May 20, 2022 at the age of 70 years. He is now reunited with many family members who have gone before him.
His pride and joy were his children and grandchildren. Keith and his ex-wife Joelle had four beautiful children together. Loving father of Lee Thomas (Lise), Renee Renauld (Martin), Aaron Barker (Kathryn), and Jesse Barker (Danielle). Grandfather of Jacob, Sedric, Audrey, Kelsey, Reis, Rory, Nyomi, Daxton, Charleigh, Seth and Romi.
Special uncle to Daniel Barker (Krissy) and great uncle of Piper and Daniel. Special uncle of Thomas and Kevin. Son of the late Orval and Irene Barker. Loving brother of the (late) John Randall (Randy) Barker, Deborah Barker (Marvin), and baby sister Sally Quigley (Hugh). Cousin/brother of Brian Barker, (late) Bill Barker, and (late) Rickey Gardner. Nephew of (late) Ellwood (late) Belle, (late) Thelma (late) Al, (late) Lloyd, (late) Abbie, Bea (late) John.
Keith will also be sadly missed by close friends Efren, John and Kerri, as well as many others. Keith was well-liked by everyone he met while travelling far and wide with his job as surveyor and his company CON-SURV-Consulting. Keith will also reunite with his beloved cats Cheezie and Queen Zayla. He leaves behind his best feline friend Bandit.
We would like to send our thanks and deep appreciation to the Sault Area Hospital for their kindness and compassion in caring for Keith. All of the staff went above and beyond to keep him comfortable.
At Keith's request there will be a private graveside committal at the Goulais River Cemetary at a later date.
