January 10, 1946 – April 5, 2023

On Wednesday, April 5th, in his 77th year, a patriarch was suddenly lost, leaving behind his soulmate of 45 years; Angela Larocque, as well as two sons and three daughters; David Larocque (Cathy), Jason Larocque, Roxanne Sackville (Dave), Rosianna Caccamo (Matt), Rochelle Larocque (Gary), nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He was one of thirteen Larocque siblings; ten of which survive him.

Lucien was a hard-working man throughout his life, tending to his family. He spent his early years as a bricklayer up until retirement. He was a caring and loving man who worked hard for his ever-growing family. Lucien was as stubborn as he was tender; never turning a cheek to ones in need, and always eager to strike up a conversation to those he did not know. When he wasn’t tinkering around during his retirement, he was always into new projects while spoiling the love of his life. He will be greatly missed by all, and never forgotten by those who loved him dearly.

A private ceremony will be held on April 9th for immediate family, while donations can be made in trust to luvbuggy@shaw.ca for his surviving spouse.
