Obituary for Henri 'Hank' Joly
May 22nd, 1966 – November 19th, 2022
Henri leaves behind his two children Roxanne Joly (Crystal) and Daniel Joly, as well as his children’s mother, Helene Alain.
Born in Sudbury, Ontario, he is predeceased by his parents Leo Joly and Raymonde Joly (nee Dugas). He was the youngest of 9 siblings.
He will be greatly missed by his loving brother’s and sister’s, Rollande Lafleur (late Sunny), Leo Joly (Terri), late Irene Jolivet, Marcel Joly, late Rose Brisson, Suzanne Joly (Rob), Dan Joly and Robert Joly.
Henri was a very talented singer and guitarist who loved to entertain his family and friends. He loved Bluegrass music, and his favorite singers were Emmylou Harris and Ricky Skaggs. He was a simple and generous man who loved giving away his possessions, regardless of value or where they came from. He will be missed for his funny, easy going and friendly nature, and leaves a void in the hearts of all those who knew and loved him.
Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
