Obituary for Joanne Lewis (Depew)
LEWIS, Joanne (nee Depew) – (April 4, 1934 – September 20, 2019)
Peacefully in her 85th year on September 20th, 2019. Mom can now be with Dad again (Gordon H. Lewis), who left us 3 years ago. I hope they are dancing and smiling in heaven. They have four children; Pam (Roger), Susan, Stephen (Susan), and Mary Jane. Mom loved her many grandchildren, Rachel (Ryan), Matthew (Angele), Meaghan, Katie (Jody), Derek (April), Jared (Lisa), Rory (Rose), Carson, Lucas (Briana) and last but not least Caleb. She leaves behind many cherished great grandchildren. Her siblings, Jim and Bill (Sheila) will miss their older sister dearly. At Mom's request there will be no funeral service. A private family gathering will take place at a later date. Words can not express the care and love that the staff at the Finnish Resthome had and gave to our mom and we can't thank you enough for being there day after day with her. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Finnish Resthome would be appreciated.
