Obituary for Jack Lapensee

LAPENSEE, Jacques

It is with heavy hearts our family says goodbye to our husband, father, and grandfather Jacques Lapensee. Lovingly known as Jack to many. He was born on January 9, 1957. He passed at his home, the only place he truly ever wanted to be, Ranger Lake on Friday January 8, 2021. Jack will be forever missed by his loving wife Diane, his two boys, Yvon (Chantal Pepin), Raymond (Tarra Leveille) and his grandson Logan. Loving brother to Luc (Shirley), Liette (J.P.), Louise (Rollie) and Lynn. Brother-in-law to Mel (Kelly), Don (Paula) the late Marilyn, Blair (Ruth), Brian (Susanne), Kathy (Don) and Chuck (Kim). He will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Jack was family to many and friend to all.

Jack was a hard-working mechanic who spent many proud years working for Prouse Motors. Jack was known for entertaining and opening his home to all to come enjoy a drink, laughter and always leave full with Diane's delicious cooking. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, snow machines and 4 wheeling especially at Ranger Lake. Jack had a stern exterior that simply dissolved when it came to his grandson. He loved teaching him about all of the things he loved. The love and protection he had for him will stay with Logan forever. He will be dearly missed by all of his family and we are comforted knowing Tikka will be waiting for Jack to throw that rock for her when they reunite.

In lieu of flowers the family graciously accepts donations towards a trust set up for Logan (Cheques may be made payable to Raymond Lapensee).
