McCREA, Ila –

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ila McCrea on October 22, 2022, at the age of 85.
Loving wife of the late Merlyn McCrea. Beloved mother of Heather Nelli (Gerry) and Heidi Caruso (Rick). Cherished grandmother of Jordan and Chelsea Nelli (Drew), Nicholas (Bianca) and Madison Caruso (Davis).

Daughter of the late Annie and the late Frank Murray. Dear sister of the late Gerry Murray (Bessie) and the late Innis Murray. Sister-in-law of the late Jim Burne (Patsy), Gary (late Judy) and Ronnie McCrea (Lyla). Daughter-in-law of the late Clifford and the late Pearl McCrea. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.

Now Ila can put on her "Blue Suede Shoes" and see Elvis and listen and dance to his music up in heaven.

The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at the Sault Area Hospital on 3A for their care and compassion.

Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Ila's life at the Moose Lodge (543 Trunk Rd, Sault Ste. Marie, ON) on Sunday, November 13th, 2022 from 1-5pm.
