Hugh Andrew Lowe passed away peacefully at Sault Area Hospital (SAH) on Friday November 29, 2019 at the age of 83. Beloved and devoted husband of Ann (Gribelli). Loving father of Nancy of Toronto, Kevin (Shelly) of Toronto, and Wayne (Karen) of Waterloo. Cherished grandpa of Andrew and Nicholas of Toronto, and Olivia and Brianne of Waterloo. Predeceased by his parents Jean (McDonald) and Captain Bill Lowe and brother Angus of Killarney, and brother Greg (Norma). He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and sports and was loved by many for his helpfulness, friendliness, and sense of humour. Thanks to the many people who helped take care of Hugh at the F J Davey Home and SAH. Friends may call at the O’Sullivan Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (215 St. James Street) on Sunday December 8, 2019 from 6-8 pm. Funeral mass is Monday December 9, 2019 at 11 am at St. Gregory’s Catholic Church (71 Estelle Street) with Father Trevor Scarfone officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer Society (Minds in Motion Program) or ARCH Hospice or charity of your choice would be appreciated.
