Obituary for Glenda Marie Biagini (Jeffrey)
BIAGINI, Glenda (Thibert nee Jeffrey)
September 10, 1934-January 28, 2021
It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Glenda Biagini at Extendicare Van Daele in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
Predeceased by her first husband Eugene Thibert (1979), Glenda is survived by her husband of forty years Robert Biagini, sister-in-law Leola Spinazze; Children James Thibert (Donalee), Micheal Thibert, and Phillip Thibert (Mary Lou); stepchildren Roberta Garriock (Dave), Gerald Biagini (Donna), Melissa Biagini Lauresen (Marley) and the late Patricia Kelly (Biagini); siblings Phyllis Rogers (Ralph), Joanne Chikoski (Eddie), Bobby Jeffrey, and the late Donald Jeffrey (Lois) and Janice Visnefsky (Lee).
Glenda will be cherished and remembered by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Glenda was a prominent artist in the Soo community for many years and a lifetime member of the Catholic Women’s League (St. Jerome’s Parish). She will also be remembered by a multitude of children and staff from both D.C. Thorpe and St. Pius X schools, where she was school secretary for many years.
Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, a private family memorial service will take place at a later date.
Glenda’s family would like to thank the staff of Extendicare Van Daele, Fr. Paul McGill, C.S.B. for their care and service. Donations made payable to or online to the Alzheimer’s Society of Sault Ste Marie would be greatly appreciated.
