Obituary for Gerry Watson Sproule
SPROULE, Gerry Watson
Passed away on May 16th, 2021 following a prolonged fight with cancer. Gerry was born May 10, 1944 and was a lifelong resident of Sault Ste. Marie. He was predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Ulah Sproule and an infant sister, Susan. He is survived by cousin, Barbara and her husband, John of Manitoba. Of special importance to Gerry’s life were his dogs, hockey, fishing and time spent with his family at their “camp” in the Algoma bush along the shores of Lake Superior. Thanks go to Violet and Max Fermage for their help to Gerry during his final illness. Interment in the family plot at Greenwood cemetery was conducted by Reverend Dean James McShane of St. Luke’s Anglican Cathedral. Memorial contributions may be made payable to T.A.A.G.
