Obituary

Odber, Gerri-Lynn-
Passed away peacefully at Arch on June 2nd, 2019 surrounded by family at the age of 58. A one of a kind woman, known for her loud laughter and her deep regard for her many friends and family, all of which she had made lasting, positive impressions on. She cherished her friendships and enjoyed making people happy. She approached her diagnosis with unwavering strength, undeniable hope, and great perseverance. Daughter of June and late Chester Odber. Loving Mother of Amber-Starr Boissoneau (Kevin), Brianna-Lynn Irving (Aaron), and Cody Irving (D’Arcy). Cherished grandmother of Daxyn, Parker, and Alaiah. Special sister of Dean Odber (Lenore), late Dwayne Odber (Nancy), Lorrie McKinnon (Chris) and Judy Coutts (Jay). Deeply loved aunt to Jami Barry (Frank), Derek Coutts, Wendy Nocita (Justin), Jeffrey Odber (Jessica), Jennifer Deplonty (Ken), Sierra Coutts (Martin). Wonderful great aunt to Tyler & Megan, Cheyanna & Victoria Coutts, Nicholas & John Nocita, Maya & Emily Odber, and Riely & Lyla Deplonty. The family would like to thank the palliative doctors and nurses of 3B at the hospital. A special thank you to the incredible staff at ARCH for their wonderful compassionate care and support. Much thanks to Cindy Gordon, Shirley and Irven Burris, Kristy Johnson and Lindy Odber, Cathy and Mike Snider, Tracy Paradis, and Lynne Healey.
We are not surprised but overwhelmed with appreciation of all the people named and the seemingly never ending list of those not mentioned here who have shared their story of how Gerri-Lynn touched their lives. In lieu of flowers, please kindly donate to the ARCH Hospice in her honour.
A celebration of Gerri-Lynn’s life will be held for all her family and friends at O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (215 St. James St) on Thursday June 6th, 2019 from 5 – 8 p.m.

So sorry for your loss Gerri-Lynn was an amazing lady, we made a friendship and during our talks we realized that we grew up in the same area and we wondered if we crossed paths she said she would be over where I lived in the McQueen Subdivision and I would be hanging around the Bar-X, so we thought maybe we did, I didn't realize how sick she was I was so busy with my own health and family and it saddens me I never got to see her or say goodbye. I am sending hugs and prayers to all of you, may she rest in peace. God Bless you all. Brenda and Mark Corbett and family.
