It is with great sadness that the family of George Chadjideris announces his passing on Saturday, February 13, 2021, at the age of 91 years. He passed peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital. George will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife, Lena, of 58 years, and his children, Heidi, Linda and the late John. He will also be fondly remembered by his sister, Penelope and his grandchildren, Iliana, Melina and Daniel. Brother-in-law of Erzi, Vera, Livio, Judy, Marilyn and Pamela, and uncle of eight nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Aristeidis, and brothers-in-law, Anthony, Bill and Nikiforo.
George was a hard-working and generous man, who helped many people throughout the years. He owned and operated “Jiffy Car Wash” for over four decades, until 2008. He loved life and adored the sunshine. He will truly be missed and will never be forgotten.
A private service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada (payable online or by cheque).
