BISHOP, Garry John (January 10, 1940-August 1, 2020)
Peacefully at ARCH after a brief battle with cancer and Alzheimer’s in his 81st year. Husband of Iona Jean (nee Wood) for 57 years. Loving father of Kevin Bishop (Megan) and Nicole Logan (Tony). Proud Grandfather of Chelsea, Maija, Braeden, T. J., Rhys, Devon and Hunter. Son of the late John and Mildred. Older brother of Donna Farrell, Lyn Bishop (Betty-Lou), Joan Davis (Alan) of Sault Ste. Marie and Duane (Kathy) of Wawa. Brother-in-law of Mavis Chisholm (Dutch), Judy Wells (Billy), the late John Wood and Rodney Wood (Penny) of St. Joseph Island and Eldon Wood (Cheryl) of Lloydminster Alberta. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. A private family graveside service will take place. In lieu of flowers, please make donations payable to the ARCH or the Alzheimer’s Society (payable by cheque or online).
