We are beyond saddened to announce the passing of Gail MacDonald at the age of 74, after a brief illness on Wednesday, November 30th. Beloved wife of Donald MacDonald. Proud and loving mother of Greg Grandbois (Nyka), Jason Grandbois, and Shannon Loucks (RobTregonning). Step-mother to Diane Brunetti (Sal), Dee Anne Marcoux, and Debbie MacDonald. Adoring Nana of Carter, Genevieve, Kylie, Emma-Gail, Kayla, Jackson, Nathan, Joel, Matthew, Danielle, Jessica, Darla, Jana, Alexandre, Andrew, Angela, and Alisha. Great-Nana to 6 and fur-baby Nana to Havoc and Castle. Daughter of the late Joseph-Emile and Dorothy Garneau. Eldest sister of Carol and Debbie. God-mother to Kevin and Other Mother to Aldo and Debbie. Life-long friend of Cheryl, Helen, and reunited with Margo and Sharon. Knitting partner of Jennifer.

Cremation has taken place. At Mom’s request, there will be no formal service with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date. In the meantime, listen to some Elton John, Burton Cummings, Neil Diamond, or Josh Groban and knit some scarves, mitts, or hats.
