PRENTICE, Fredrick John
Passed away suddenly and peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on July 14, 2020 at the age of 86. Fred, or Bill to some, was predeceased by his wife Joan (nee Thomas) and survived by his partner Barb McPhee. Father of Michael (Natalia) and Tracey (Noel).Grumpy Grampy of Elizaveta, he sure did love this little girl and she him. Though their relationship was mostly on Facebook messenger, she loved to “ham” it up for him. Son of the late Frederick Prentice and the late Mabel Prentice (nee Fantham). Brother of Jean Zuurhoud (Bill) and Lois (late Larry) Faught. Uncle Bill to Rebecca and Fred, Ralph, Patty, Wayne, Suzie, Terry and Greg. There will be no service at the request of the deceased. A special thank you to the staff at the Sault Area Hospital and the F.J. Davey Home. After a long stay at SAH, he finally found home again at the F.J. Davey Home, albeit for a short period of time. A very special thank you to Don Bieth.
