The family of Elizabeth Hendriks regret to announce her peaceful passing on Friday, March 26, 2021. She has left behind her soulmate Robert Hunter of 42 years and her fur baby Tiffa.
Elizabeth is predeceased by her parents John and Ruby Hendriks. Sister of Bob Parr (Sue), Philip (Debbie), Anne (Bear) the late Randy (Marcia), Scott (Nancy), Trudy (Jason), Bonnie (Ray), and Ted. Sister-in-law of Shirley Hammill (Jack Reed) and Barbara Tremblay (late Edward). She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Liz was very respected by her peers and showed great compassion for her patients over her 25-year nursing career. She loved the outdoors, bush camping and spending her quiet time at her Trout Lake camp. Elizabeth was lovingly known to her family and friends as ‘Biz’. A nickname given to her by her love.

Liz’s wishes are no visitation or services and cremation will take place. She considered the love shown to her in the past to be a celebration of life.
Special thanks to the nurses and staff of 3B at the Sault Area Hospital who were so caring and compassionate. Thank you to the doctors; Dr. Spadafora, Dr. Booth, Dr, Russell, Dr. Apostle, Dr. Bowen, and Nurse Bailey. Memorial donations to the Arthritis Society or the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
