Hughes, Doris Carmen (nee Oviatt)-
Passed away quietly with family by her side on April 10, 2021, in her 97th year. Predeceased by her husband William (Bill) in 1977 and survived by her 4 daughters, Carmen Watt (Jerry), Sheila O’Reilly-Alton (Ron), Della DaCosta (Joe) and Wendy Weber (Nelson), and 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. She and Bill raised their family in Kirkland Lake where she had a long career as Manager of Housekeeping at the Kirkland and District Hospital. She retired and moved to Sault Ste. Marie in 1986. The family would like to thank the Nurses from Bayshore and ARCH for their excellent care with a special thanks to Dr. Buehner. Interment will follow in Kirkland Lake at a later date. Memorial donations to ARCH or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
