Obituary for Donna Kay Possamai (Wilton)

With broken hearts, we are saddened to announce that Donna Kay passed away at home peacefully surrounded by her loving family on November 4, 2022, at 70 years old after a courageous battle with cancer. Survived by her loving devoted husband and best friend, Ross, of 52 years. Forever missed by her children Sherri, Bobby and Joanna (Dan), and special mom to Jenn along with her loving grandchildren Treanna (Andrew), The Late Baby Jeremy,Jayden, Kyle and Izzie. Donna will be deeply missed by her great grandchildren, Brodie and Paisley who will always have a special place in Nanny’s heart. Beloved daughter to the late Robert and Helen Wilton as well as daughter-in-law of the late Caesar and Irene Possamai. Sister to the late Carl Wilton, Shirley Wilton and Richard Wilton. Survived by her sisters Lillian Roe (Chuck) and Judy Tourigny. She will also be deeply missed by her brother-in-law Dan Possamai (Donna), sister-in-law Carol Pepin, sister-in-law Penny Godfrey (Late Craig), sister-in-law Wendy Possamai (Late Ron), brother-in-law Patrick Possamai (Elaine), brother-in-law Mike Possamai, sister-in-law Theresa Possamai (Terry), brother-in-law Mark Possamai (Diane) and the late Terry Possamai. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

Donna was always devoted to her family. She did everything for us which we will be forever grateful. Everything she did, she did for us. She will be deeply missed and always be in our hearts.

A very special thank you to Dr. Karen Booth, Dr. Gayle Yee, Dr. Adam Parent, Dr. Ioannis Voutsadakis and staff at the ADCP, along with ParaMed nurses, especially Marcy, for their exceptional and compassionate care towards our mom.

Another special thank you to Lil, Cathy, Theresa, Terry and her BFF Cookie and dear friend Ole for all of their help, love and support you showed mom. We will be forever grateful.

At Donna’s request, there will be no funeral service, a private family service will be held at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ARCH, the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of your choice.
