Obituary for Donald Alfred Eddy
The family regrets to announce the passing of Donald on December 7, 2022.
Son of the late Clarence and late Helen (nee Wright). Stepson of the late Ivy (nee Wigmore). Husband and dance partner of Mabel (nee Murray), for 69 years. Father of Lawrence, Sandra St. John (Randy), Paul (Lory) and the late Brian. Grandfather of seven and great grandfather of four. Brother of the late Verna Barr (late Dale) and Dianne Young (Paul). Uncle and great uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Thanks to the paramedics as well as a tremendous thank you to Dr. Smith and the kind and gentle nurse Laura at the Sault Area Hospital, emergency department.
Cremation has taken place. At Donald’s request, there is no public funeral and he will be laid to rest in the family plot alongside his son Brian at Jocelyn Mountain Maple Cemetery, St. Joseph’s Island at a later date.
