It is with broken hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Donnie, who left us suddenly on June 6, 2020, in his 35th year in Surrey, B. C. He will always be remembered for his quirky personality, loving nature, great sense of humour and his goofy smile. Best friend and soul mate to Dottie Blackall-Rosell and stepfather to Taylor and Haydon. Son of the late Donald Couturier (Kim) and the late Paulette Couturier. Son-in-law to Neil Blackall (Donna) and Cathy Blackhall. Brother to Darrell (Jeanne), Ron (Judy) and Greg (Tamara). Stepbrother to Tara Corran (Richard). Brother-in-law to Candice Thomas (Martin). Special uncle to Darrell Jr. (Signe), Dustin (Lori), Ashley (Nick), Dylan (Karrissa), Natasha (Justin), Dawn (Brandon), James, Emma, Ainsley, Sophie, Grace and Cassidy. Great uncle to Zoe and Mia. He will be fondly remembered by his best friend and buddy Shawn Edwards (Amanda and Madison). Cremation has taken place in British Columbia and a Celebration of Donnie’s Life will be held in Sault Ste. Marie after the COVID restrictions are lifted. Memorial donations in Donnie’s memory may be made to the Sault Ste Marie Humane Society.
