Burns, Dolores (nee Lapenskie)
Passed away peacefully at Sault Area Hospital on November 26, 2020 at the age of 90. Predeceased by her husband JLO Burns “Jello”. Mother of Patricia Bevington, Marjorie St. John (Fred) and Gisele Calder (Terry). Special mom to Gordon Mathieu. Grandmother of Heidi St. John, Dan St. John, Jane Bevington (Joel Mountney), Amy Calder, Jocelyn Corbett (Glenn) and Karen Bevington. Great grandmother of Kaleb Samson, Davis St. John, Kevin Calder and Kallie Finn. Daughter of the late Peter & Marcella Lapenskie. Sister of late Lorenzo Lapenskie (Ethel), late Ben Lapenskie (Georgie), late Ruth Eaton (late Ken) and late Olivine (late John). She will be missed by her brother in law, Adrian Burns as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be held on Thursday December 3, 2020 from 10-12 p.m. at O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (corner or Cathcart & St. James St). Maximum 25 people allowed to enter the funeral home at a time, masks and social distancing are required. Private Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gregory’s Parish. Father Trevor Scarfone officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Thank you to Katie at SAH 3B & PSW’s from CBI Home Health and special thanks to Dan St. John and Gordon Mathieu for their loving and compassionate care of mom.
