Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Saturday September 7, 2019 at the age of 81. Loving husband of Joanne. Proud and beloved father of Steven (Jackie), Rodney (Sandra), Patti (late Chris), Wendy (Marc) and Marty (Tracy). Cherished Nono of Jessica (Steve), Jennah, Tyson, Kyle, Travis, Colton, Hayden, Paxton, Christian, Carley, Matt, Lindsay and Kailem. Del will be missed by his furry friend Nikko and is now reunited with Mitzi. Predeceased by his parents Pietro and Italia Pettenuzzo. Brother of Sylvia (late Jimmy), Mike (Sylvia), Rena (Abbie), Loris (Trudy) and the late Ronnie (late Lila). Son-in-law of the late John and Marguerite Johnson. Brother-in-law of Lynne Hamilton. As per Del’s wishes, a private family service will be held. The family would like to thank the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Unit, Dr. Rasouli, Dr. Wilson, Nurse Paula, and all the Cancer Unit Staff for the care and compassion given to Del.
