Obituary for Debrah Lynn De Pasquale (St. Amand)

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Sault Area Hospital on February 2, 2023, at the age of 69.

Survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Daniel Brian. Adored mother of Daniel Gordon and Pauline (Shaun). Cherished grandmother of Daniel Richard, Carlee (Tyler) and Kyle. She leaves behind her precious fur baby Maggie.

Daughter of Velma St. Amand and the late Gordon St. Amand. Loving sister of Cathy (Chris) Schultz, Monique St. Amand and Brenda Armstrong. Daughter in law of the late Daniel Anthony and Jackie De Pasquale. Sister in law of Ed (Jackie) De Pasquale, Brenda (Dave) Redfern and the late Brent (Shirley) De Pasquale. Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Debbie loved to spend time with her family and her Silver Birch family in Batchawana Bay—her favourite place to be. You could often find her sitting by the fire with her beloved fur baby Maggie. Her sleepovers with her adored grandchildren Daniel, Carlee and Kyle will be cherished forever. Debbie was the most selfless women who always put her family first. She was the best wife, mother, grandmother, and there was nothing she wouldn’t do for us. Our rock and now our angel.

Debbie spent many years providing home day care. She loved and cherished all the children over the years and took care of them like her own.

Mom, we wish we could have had many more years with you, but we are happy that you are at peace and no longer suffering. We know you are with us wherever we go.

As per Debrah’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service was held. Much respect and appreciation to the amazing nurses and incredible Doctors at the Sault Area Hospital ICU department. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the SSM Humane Society (payable online or by cheque).
