CLAYTON, Deborah
After a hard-fought battle with cancer, peacefully in the early morning of July 27, 2023, with her son Mathew by her side. Loving mother to Christine, Mathew, the late Michael, and wife to Jim Hammond.
Born November 29, 1951, to Ella and Lavergne Clayton, she was daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many and had a special relationship with her late niece, Shari. She received much love and care from her niece Judy and nephew Hallie for which Mathew will be forever grateful. She will be missed by her loving brother, Brent Clayton among many. Her lifelong friend Teresa Wagner was also by her side.
Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Arch Hospice, where donations may be made (Payable by cheque or online).
A private family ceremony will be held. Debbie’s final resting place will be with her son Michael at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Cremation will take place and a private family service will be held.
