Smeltzer, David Clayton-
Passed away after a short battle with cancer at 72 years of age on July 5, 2020. Beloved husband of Lori (nee McMaster). Devoted father to Chris and Chad. Grandfather of Sarah, Clayton, Jax and Claire. Beloved son of Joyce (late Clayton). Son in law of the late Pat and Earlinne McMaster. Dear brother of John (Mary), late Terry (Carolle), Rick (Bev), late Jeffery, Stephen (Julie) and Sandi. Brother in law to Phil, Patti (Lee), Doug (late Elaine) and Don (Sylvia). Uncle to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Dave retired in 2002 after 32 years of policing. He had the opportunity to fulfill his childhood dreams (policing, cadets, fishing, living on the lake and lived a full life). Thank you to all the medical professionals in the Sault and Sudbury for all your care and compassion. A live Celebration of Life & cremation has already taken place as per his wishes.
