Obituary for David Royal Rogers
Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital with family by his side on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at the age of 75.
Loving husband and best friend of Brenda for 50 years. Proud father of James (Jennifer). Loving grandfather of Gavin Rogers (Daytona) and Meghan Rogers.
Predeceased by his parents Roy and Lenora Rogers. Brother to Lynda Della Penta (Nick) and Susan Thayer (Tim). Son in law of the late Stanley and Lillian Simons. Brother in law to Emily Duplin (late Paul), late Marion Smale (late Ken), Harold Simons (Linda), Judi Dukes (Brian), and Ray Simons (Angelika). David was a loving uncle, great uncle and great great uncle to many nieces and nephews who he was always so happy to have visit.
A visitation will take place on Friday, January 27, 2023, at O’Sullivan Funeral Home (215 St. James Street, SSM) from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm. A memorial service will follow in the chapel at 2:00 pm with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating.
The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors of the palliative care team at the Sault Area Hospital, as well as Dr. Apostle and Dr. Buehner.
