Words could never describe the loss we feel.
On Friday March 13, 2020, Neil left us to reunite with his mom and dad, Judith and Mervyn McBain. He is loved for infinity always and forever by Stacey Shea. Neil was a proud man, full of determination. His greatest accomplishments in life were his children, Sean (Simone), Ticia (James) Stewart, Gord (Jess), Greyson, Aidan and David McBain. The only name he loved more to be called other than Dad was Papa by Ana, Luiza, Tyara, Kylee, Makayla, Cole and Robert. He was a loving, supportive brother to Sherrie, Alan (Gina) and Nancy (Mark) McBain. He will be truly missed by his grandma, Shirley Skilling and was loved dearly by his nieces and nephews. Forever missed brother in law to Chris and Sarah Shea. Son in law to the late Carolyn Shea and Vince (Rita) Casey. His memory will be cherished by aunts, uncles and cousins. Neil was blessed to have wonderful friends he loved like family. A Celebration to honour Neil’s life will be planned in late spring. An education trust has been set up for the future education of Neil’s youngest boys. Donations can be made to Chris Shea at chris.shea@shaw.ca. To the staff of Sault Area Hospital and the two paramedics who never gave up, thank you for your support and compassion.
