Passed away peacefully at Sault Area Hospital on August 28, 2022 at the age of 67 with his niece Kerri by his side.
Cherished father of Shauna. Proud grandfather of Hailey and Liam.
Born to the late Edwin and Valeda Mcauley (nee Burns). He leaves behind his brothers, Mark and Alvin. Brother of the late Brian (Shirley), the late Edwina Mitchell and the late Edwin. Nephew to Adrian Burns.
Special friend and companion of Carol Derrien, her children and grandchildren.
Uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
Heartfelt thank you to the doctors and nurses at Sault Area Hospital 2B, 3C and ICU, especially Dr. “J’ (Jadavji), Dr. Landry and nurse Jess, for her care and compassion shown to Dave during his final hours.
At Dave’s request, there will be no funeral. Cremation has taken place.
