Passed peacefully at ARCH with his niece Rachel Barnes by his side on Sunday April 5, 2020. Son of the late Lucien ‘Lou’ Barnes and Mary Barnes (nee Doyle). Brother of Steven Barnes (late Judy Artuso-Barnes). Uncle to Rachel Barnes. David will be missed by his loving family and faithful friends. Special thank you to the doctors, nurses and health care workers at the Sault Area Hospital and ARCH for their professionalism and compassion during these especially difficult times. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date this summer. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to ARCH, Pauline’s Place or the Canadian Cancer Society-Algoma District would be appreciated.
