Suddenly at his home in Toronto, on Sunday January 22, 2023, at the age of 57. Much loved son of Christine and Michael Applejohn. Cherished brother of Andrew (Stacy) and adored uncle of Ava, Evan and Dylan. Very special friend of Wayne and Susie Shaw and Dale Harrison. Darren will be missed by his many relatives, friends and colleagues at Alexander Mackenzie High School, where he was particularly close to Antonia Hatzifotis, Tim Mathieson, Ruth Kearney and Jen Alexander.

As per Darren’s wishes, there will be no services. A Celebration of Life will be held at a alter date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the War Amps of Canada. (Payable by cheque or online at www.donate.waramps.ca).
