October 23, 1963 – November 16, 2021
Christine has taken her final journey to be with her Lord and Savior, after a short battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family at the Sault Area Hospital. Survived by her parents, Anthony and Shauna Anich. The adored big sister of Tony, David (Tammy), Mary Hewgill (Peter) and Luke. Special auntie to Matthew (Alicia), Jamie-Lynn (Austin), Noah, Katie and Emily Hewgill and Abbie Anich. Great auntie to Alex and Sophie.
Some big sisters are only big sisters because they are born first, but our big sister lived and earned that honor. She always put others and their needs first and has always been our family’s protector, advisor and guardian. The treasures from her many talents will be held dear forever. Thank you for being a caregiver to so many babies, seniors and everyone in between. Your loving heart will be missed.
A very special heartfelt thank you to Dr. Bowen and Dr. Ladak and all the wonderful nurses on 3A and 3C at SAH for their compassion and exceptional care.
Cremation has been taken place. If you feel comfortable attending, visitation will be held at O’Sullivan Funeral Home (215 St. James St.) on Friday, November 26, 2021, 11:00am to 1:00pm with a private family service to follow, officiated by Pastor TJ Telfer. Masks are mandatory and the use of hand sanitizer is appreciated. To attend the visitation, relatives and friends must register (RSVP) either online or by calling the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Faith Baptist Church or The Pregnancy Centre.
