Lest We Forget
It is with sincere humility, the family of Carmen Scarfone JR,
Announce his most dutiful REWARD, to rest in his loving
MOTHER's arms and FEAR not, with GRACE and abundant
love, a call to his HOME, a safer space than his own as
he just shows up.... (Carm always says, he is okay, I just
show up)
Carm Jr is the MOST CHERISHED, RESPECTED, PROTECTED,
UNDERSTOOD beautiful, sweet son of Carmen Sr and the late Olga
Scarfone. He is most adored by GODMOTHER, Auntie Linda Roy,
and the often-FAVE NOOCH, by his Chocha Helen Joseph,
and will always be "LITTLE Carmey " to his Auntie Glo in Sudbury.
Regardless, the distance near or far, among his LOVING cousins,
he is the purest, simple of heart who demands his rest now and
the FLOOR is his, if it wasn’t meant to be then, it is now.
Carm is the VERY BEST FRIEND, and HERO of his ONLY sister Laurie,
who LOVES her "NOONIE" more than LIFE, as her BREATH, she is
now breathless and EMPTY as he travels the world beyond without
her, however, their SOULS united forever. THE "SIBZ" are the real deal.
It is with EXCEPTIONAL gratitude from all our hearts to give praise and honour
to the EXTENSIVE friends and medical team, who reside in London Ontario,
and Sault Ste Marie, who brought out the very best in people, as our happiness
was "THE JOURNEY, " not a destination, DRs John Yoo,/ Mendez his surgical team,
Dr Hammond, oncology, Dr Soskin, Goula dentistry, Dr Ross, Gonder, Chin
OUR SOO HEROS, DR John Fabbro , Dr Damian Micomonaco, Dr Sam Farah, Dr Haidar,
Dr Brian Mitchell, Dr Sil Spadafora, Dr Andrew Gordon Pearce, and their liaison,
the WHOLE MED FLOOR of 3B, Dr(s) George, Bowen Kargbo, Fera, Maligrana, Dawson
and what can I say, the ONA nursing staff, a years’ worth of valuable learning
and partnerships it wasnt Havana, but OO NA NA, thanks for celebrating
LIFE with us, it was our privilege and honour, revolutionizing mets, juvi diabetes
and sarcs what a trip, we are better people for it, indeed.
I would like to thank my special friends, the Wieczors, Swan Naccarato ,
the Kinney’s, Eyre’s, the whole LAMP, the Giddings, and my buddie
Mani OMAR and Cindy Lemay, my GOD the valuable love and kindness is immeasurable
FOREVER GRATEFUL and BLESSED for sharing yourselves with us.
